Vivo X 20 Plus Review

Vivo X20 Plus smartphone was launched in September 2017. The phone comes with a 6.43-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2160 pixels.

Display and Camera

The Vivo X20 Plus sports a massive 6.4-inch super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080×21610(376ppi pixel density). Unfortunately, it lacks any protective coating, making it a little susceptible to damage. The primary cameras are 12+12-megapixels with a f/1.8 lens, LED flash, touch focus, face detection, HDR, and panorama. It can record full HD videos at 30 fps. The secondary camera is 12-megapixels with a f/2.0 lens. The low light image quality of the cameras is commendable, given the lens aperture. The super AMOLED panel is guaranteed to perk up your multimedia experience with its vivid colour reproduction and brightness.

Processor and Storage Device

The Vivo X20 Plus is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.

The battery is a non-removable 3,900mAh unit, which should easily last most users well over a day. The device also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is expected to run Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box and will be customised by Vivo’s Funtouch OS 3.0.

Connectivity and Additional Features

The Vivo X20 Plus is a dual SIM, and both slots are compatible with 4G and VoLTE. Other connectivity features 802.11 b/g/n/ac WiFi, which allows faster wireless internet speeds, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS and a microUSB port for charging and data transfer. It also features a variety of sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, proximity sensor and an ambient light sensor.
