Camera

The Oppo F5 has a 16MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and equipped with different features like Phase Detection autofocus, LED flash, Continuous Shooting, face detection and touch to focus. This makes the images and videos have a very high resolution and of superior quality. A 20MP front camera with AI-enabled beauty technology makes for a great option for clicking awesome quality selfies.

Display and Design

Following a few weeks of advertisements and teaser posters in the malls, the OPPO F5 is officially out, with a modern take that fits into the 2017 design aesthetic of 18:9 aspect ratio phones. The F5 has a 6-inch FHD+ display with a 2,160 x 1,080 resolution, protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The phone has very minimal bezels, although you can still see the little bezels framing the screen on the sides and on the top and the bottom, but it’s a very good screen-to-body ratio.

Performance

For processing the device, the 64-bit 2.5 GHz octa-core processor is seated on a MediaTek MT6763T chipset to pull out a smooth performance. The processor is paired with a massive 4GB RAM and Mali-G71 MP2 graphics processor, which is a big boost to the high-end gaming requirements. The device boots on Android v7.1 (Nougat) operating system.

Connectivity

The Oppo F5 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India).
