You can get real time status (GPS/GPRS based) of your intended train of travel by sending an SMS to 16318 and in return get a message containing information as following:

- Train Travelers can get current location of a train in real time with 5 sec pulse
- Train passengers can get train status, departure time, next station, next stoppage, actual delay time from SMS reply content
- Users can also get any unexpected event information like trip cancellation notice, Transshipment etc with prior confirmation received from Bangladesh Rail process.

- ট্রেন ভ্রমণকারীরা ট্রেনের বর্তমান অবস্থান জানতে পারবেন (৫ সেকেন্ড পালস-এর সাথে)
- যাত্রীগণ ট্রেনের অবস্থা, ট্রেন ছাড়ার সময়, পরবর্তী স্টেশন, পরবর্তী স্টপেজ, ট্রেনের বিলম্বিত সময় ফিরতি SMS-এর মাধ্যমে জানতে পারবেন
- এছাড়াও ব্যবহারকারী যেকোনো আকস্মিক তথ্য যেমন, ভ্রমণ বাতিলকরণ বিজ্ঞপ্তি, ট্রান্সশিপমেন্ট ইত্যাদি বাংলাদেশ রেলওয়ে-এর পক্ষ থেকে নিশ্চিতকরণ সাপেক্ষে জানতে পারবেন।
