BlackBerry Motion Smartphone comes with 12MP auto-focus rear camera

BlackBerry Motion packs a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

Design and Display

The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 403 pixels per inch. The BlackBerry Motion runs Android 7.1.1 and is powered by a 4000mAh non removable battery. It measures 155.70 x 75.40 x 8.13 (height x width x thickness) .

Camera

As far as the cameras are concerned, the BlackBerry Motion packs a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The 12-megapixel camera with auto-focus and dual-tone flash lets you take shots that are colourful and sharp in any light. It also features a built-in Scanner to let your quickly and easily save digital copies of documents, business cards and receipts to keep your records up to date. The 8-megapixel front-facing camera with fixed focus, LCD flash and 84-degree wide angle lens makes it perfect for group conference calls. You can hide photos and documents in your personal Locker on the Motion, so that anyone looking at your photo won’t be able to access them. Unlock your Locker via the Fingerprint Sensor or using your password. You can even take pictures in Locker Mode to instantly hide private shots, preventing them from automatically being uploaded onto the Cloud.

Performance

The BlackBerry Motion is powered by 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 200GB via a microSD card. It has a few defining features such as its dust and water resistant IP67 rating and a large 4,000mAh battery that should last you more than a day, but unless you’re paranoid about security and trust the BlackBerry brand with it, there isn’t anything unique about the Motion that will make you buy one.

BlackBerry proper is making a comeback as a software vendor by focusing on security, and its latest quarterly earnings report suggests the pivot is working splendidly, exceeding the Streets earnings expectations.
